Our Story

Our work began through a personal journey of healing, self-discovery and the search to understand what sits beneath pain, behaviour and emotional patterns.

What started as a deeply personal journey gradually evolved into a broader body of work exploring beliefs, perception, wellbeing, relationships and the environments that shape us.

Over time, this work expanded beyond individual healing into supporting teams, organisations, kura and communities to strengthen wellbeing, resilience, self-awareness and connection.

Today, Finding Freedom, Rapua te Mea Ngaro and Te Āhurutanga form an interconnected ecosystem of transformational frameworks designed to help people and environments thrive.

What We’ve Learned

We believe behaviour has meaning.

Beneath stress, conflict, withdrawal, burnout and emotional reactions are often deeper beliefs, experiences and unmet needs influencing how people see themselves, others and the world around them.

Through self-awareness and understanding, people are better able to respond rather than react, strengthen relationships, build resilience and create healthier environments around them.

This understanding now sits at the heart of all our work - from personal wellbeing journeys through to organisational culture and community transformation.

How the Work Evolved

As the work grew, it became increasingly clear that the same patterns influencing individual wellbeing were also influencing teams, workplaces, learning environments and communities.

Questions around behaviour, belonging, emotional safety, communication and resilience were appearing everywhere — across whānau, organisations, kura and service-based professions.

This led to the development of broader frameworks and programmes designed to support not only personal transformation, but also healthier cultures, stronger relationships and thriving environments.

Today, our work supports individuals, organisations and communities through bilingual wellbeing and behavioural frameworks grounded in lived experience, cultural connection and practical application.

Bridging Human Understanding and Systems Thinking

Alongside this work is a strong background in transformational change, process architecture and organisational systems design developed through years of working within large national and international organisations.

This experience shaped an understanding that sustainable transformation requires more than good intentions - it requires environments, systems and relationships that actively support wellbeing, communication, growth and connection.

Today, this combination of behavioural understanding, wellbeing, systems thinking and cultural connection informs the way we design and deliver our work across people, teams and communities
